Flexadux Plastics Ltd introduce their range of GRP ventilation ducting, manufactured to National Coal Board Specifiacation. It is a lightweight glass reinforced plastic, which is flame resistant and anti-static.

Jointing is by means of 'Bell and Spigot' with a neoprene rubber sleeve giving excellent leakage co-efficients. Also available with a wire tensioning system designed to give added security of joints where required.

Diameters are available within the range of 200mm to 1400mm, and standard lengths are 2 metres, 3 metres and 6 metres. The nominal wall thickness is 3mm but can be decreased or increased as required. Additionally ribs may be added for extra wall strength and increased resistance to collapse where high negative pressures are experienced..

Flexadux Plastics Ltd also manufacture GRP adapters - glass fibre to steel and glass fibre to flexible - Bends, T-Pieces, Y-Pieces, Reducers, Trombone Systems, Diffusers and space saving Oval ducting systems
