GRP Methane drainage pipes
|
Flexadux Plastics manufacture a range of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) methane pipes approved for underground use by the British Mining companies. The pipes are manufactured using a Phenolic resin system combined with a carbon black powder that gives anti-static properties. This GRP composite material is highly resistant to both fire and combustion. The pipes are produced using a filament wound technique that gives the pipe both hoop and axial strength. The standard jointing system uses a neoprene o-ring and a stainless steel spring. Other jointing systems are available on request.
